How Showing Love to Water and Rice Makes a Difference to Our Own Health

I saw an experiment a few months ago.  It took Masaru Emoto’s idea of positive, loving thoughts and words given to water to make beautiful crystals when frozen.  The idea for this experiment was to take 3 separate jars of rice and water in equal proportions.  To the first jar only kind loving words were spoken such as, “Thank you, I love you, Namaste.”  The second jar only hateful words were spoken such as, “You’re disgusting, I wish you were dead, you’re so worthless.”  And the third jar was totally ignored.  I also put signs on two of them: “I Love You” on the positive one and “I Hate You” on the negative one.  I thought that would be a fun, easy experiment to do, so I did.

Because our bodies are mostly made up of water, it stands to reason that how we can affect it on the cellular level, will really make a difference as to how our bodies respond:  are we healthy or are we ill.

Here are my results:


Day 2.  All three jars look the same.  The water is clear.  The jars are in the following order on the counter:  left is the negative one, middle is the ignored one and on the right is the positive one.  I will show the group picture for the day then the positive, negative, and the ignored.

Day 3.  There were changes already taking place.  The positive one had a little bit of “stuff” forming on the top.  The negative one was looking a little filmy and the ignored one had no change.

Day 13.  A lot of change had started to take place.  The positive one had quite a bit of whitish looking “stuff” on the top.  The negative one had a frothy look with yellow “stuff” and bubbles.  And the ignored one had yellow “stuff” and some mold growing (that dark spot).  I couldn’t take the tops off because some of them smelled REALLY bad!

Day 16.  The positive one had developed an interesting bubble, but remained white with no mold growth.  The negative one was showing more signs of mold around the edges and the water was getting murky.  The ignored one was really showing signs of stress.  The “stuff” on top was growing, a lot.  It had grown orange stuff on the top in addition to the black mold. The water was also turning more yellowish.

Day 17.  A lot of change was seen especially with the ignored one.  The positive one’s bubble grew bigger.  The negative one had more yellow stuff growing around the edge.  But the ignored one actually grew in height enough so that I had to make a bubble with the plastic to accommodate the growth.  The orange stuff had formed some sort of bubble.  Some of the rice seems to have risen up and was fermenting in a very gross, stinky, moldy way.

Day 18.  I was able to get some nice photos of the growth on top of the water.  The positive one really just has some nice white “stuff” on the top; no mold.  The negative one has some very interesting mold growing around the side.  The ignored one, you can see how orange it got on the top.  The bottom photo shows how tall it had grown.  Interesting!

Day 26.  As you can see from the top photo, the water in all three changed quite a bit from the start.  The back one, ignored, was definitely the worse of all of them.  It sort of looks like really dark sun tea; nasty.  The negative one on the left has a definite dark yellow color to it, and the positive one on the right is cloudy, but still looks pretty okay.  The rest of these photos show the top of the water.  The positive one still has just a little bit of stuff on the top, but all in all stayed pretty pure.  The negative one grew an interesting array of mold.  The ignored one is, of course, the most interesting.  The bubble finally deflated and you can see how nasty the water looks and how much mold and ick are growing.

My conclusion to this experiment is as follows:

Our bodies hear and feel our self-talk continually throughout the day.  When we are loving to ourselves, it allows our bodies to remain strong and able to stay healthy.  When we speak and think negatively, our bodies have a much harder time staying healthy.  It is more likely to have more health challenges and take longer to heal.  But, wow, ignoring all your needs is by far the most detrimental of all.  Looking at my experiment; if that water were in a body, it wouldn’t stand a chance.  All the conditions were the same for all 3 jars. Only the amount of attention and the type of attention each one received was different.

Wouldn’t it be a marvelous thing to think that just by changing the way we treat ourselves, we could influence our health that radically?  I think it is truly worth a try; it certainly cannot hurt.   To think we could radically heal ourselves of such things as Crohn’s disease, colitis, diverticulitis, leaky gut syndrome, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and the list goes on and on by just changing our self-talk?  I challenge you to give it try.  If you need help, contact me  I am always here to help you on your journey.  That is my passion.
