For those new to mantra meditation, chanting so hum during your practice is an excellent place to begin. Translating into “I am that” attention is paid to “so” on the in breath and “hum” on the out breath. This two syllable mantra brings attention to the breath’s natural rhythm and creates a powerful flow of meditation concentration. When repeated throughout one’s meditation it translates to “I am that I am.”
